President of Poland (1995-2005) Aleksander Kwasniewski, YES Founder and member of the Board Victor Pinchuk, member of the European Parliament Marek Siwiec, among the members of the Board of YES, held a series of working meetings with the European decision-making community on May 11-12, 2010 in Brussels, to announce the election of President Kwasniewski as Chairman of the Board of YES and to discuss perspectives on Ukraine's foreign policy priorities and reform agenda. The discussion focused on Ukraine's relations with the EU and Russia, the negotiations on the future deep and comprehensive free trade area between Ukraine and the European Union, and the prospects for boosting Ukraine's integration with the EU. The participants of the discussions included, among others, Charles Tannock, MEP, Elmar Brok, MEP, Adrian Severin, MEP, Deputy Director-General DG Enlargement Jan Truszczynski, Michael Emerson, CEPS, and DG Trade Coordinator for Ukraine Philippe Cuisson.
