Haluk Bayraktar: It is my great honor to help Ukraine in the struggle for sovereignty

13 September 2022

Haluk Bayraktar, CEO of Baykar Technology considers it a great honor to help Ukraine in its struggle for sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.

“It is my pleasure to support in this struggle, in this opposition, in this resistance, in the fight for independence and sovereignty of Ukraine. This is an honour for me. When we established our company 20 years ago we had one objective: to be technologically independent. And today our technologies demonstrate the result of helping Ukraine on the battlefield,” Bayraktar has said at the 17th Yalta European Strategy (YES) Annual Meeting “Ukraine: Defending All Our Freedom”, organised by YES in partnership with the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

Bayraktar said the Baykar Technology company began a mutually beneficial cooperation with Ukraine in 2018 and plans to develop the cooperation further.

“We began an active cooperation with Ukraine, became strategic partners developing our relations for the mutual benefit of both parties, for us to supplement each other. Ukrainian armed forces have to be strong, the country has to be defense capable, and our technologies help here,” Bayraktar said.
