Oleksandr DANYLIUK

Oleksandr Danyliuk is the Minister of Finance of Ukraine since April 14, 2016. Before this appointment, he had been the Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Ukraine since September 25, 2015, and the representative of the President in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine since July 17, 2014.
Prior to his career in public service, Mr. Danyliuk has changed several investment projects. He has held different posts at a number of investment companies in 1995-1998. In 2001-2002, Mr. Danyliuk was the vice-president of “Avechurs” company (Kyiv). For three years in 2002-2005, Mr. Danyliuk had been a senior consultant at McKinsey and Co. in London, Great Britain. In 2006-2010, he was the CEO of the investment company “Rurik Investment” (London, Great Britain). Prior to starting his career in public service, Mr. Danyliuk was the head of the Coordination Centre for the Implementation of Economic Reforms, an advisory body to the President of Ukraine, in 2010-2015.
Mr. Danyliuk is a graduate of the National Technical University “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (1998). He also attended Kyiv Institute for Investment Management (1995), as well as Indiana University Kelly School of Business (MBA, 2001). Mr. Danyliuk was born on July 22, 1975, in Grygoriopil, Moldova. Mr. Danyliuk is fluent in five languages.
