Lasiichuk Yevhen

Commander of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces, Brigadier General Yevhen Lasiichuk, is a Hero of Ukraine and a knight of the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky II and III degree. He has served in the Air Assault Forces since the beginning of his military career in 2010. He has participated in a number of significant battles of the Russian-Ukrainian war — Donetsk Airport, Izvaryne, Izium. From 2024 to May 2025, as commander of the 25th Airborne Brigade, he held back the enemy in the Pokrovsk direction. In June of last year, he was appointed commander of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces. For nearly a year, he led the defensive operation of the entire Pokrovsk agglomeration. Currently, the 7th Corps of the Air Assault Forces is holding back the enemy in another, one of the most difficult sectors of the front.
