Ihor Zhovkva has served as Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine since September 2019. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in foreign policy and European and Euro-Atlantic integration, having held positions in the Presidential Administration and Office of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. He graduated from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in International Relations. He holds a PhD in Political Science and the academic title of Associate Professor. He has been awarded the Order of Merit, Third Class, and holds the honorary title of Honoured Education Worker of Ukraine.
