Ukraine leader hints at Tymoshenko reprieve
Ukraine’s president Viktor Yanukovich has hinted that legal reforms could provide a way out of the contentious trial of Yulia Tymoshenko, the former Orange Revolution co-leader, threatening the country’s hopes of closer integration with Europe.
«When we have an understanding that the best security guarantee for Europe today is Ukraine with the strongest army in Europe, then may be this would be easier for us to understand how to help Ukraine win this war»
