On 24 February 2023, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and Yalta European Strategy (YES) held a discussion “Stay in the fight - Next Steps” on the occasion of the informal gathering One Year - Stay in Fight dedicated to the first anniversary of Russia’s brutal and unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Speakers discussed the next steps that Ukraine and its Western allies need to take to ensure Kyiv’s victory on the battlefield and rebuild the country.

24th February 2023, Kyiv – The Victor Pinchuk Foundation and the PinchukArtCentre in partnership with the Office of the President of Ukraine presented the Russian War Crimes exhibition during Informal YES Gathering One Year – Stay in The Fight. The exhibition shows the documented Russian war crimes committed in Ukraine, providing evidence of the horrific reality of Russia’s war against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
On 18 February 2023, on the margins of the Munich Security Conference, Yalta European Strategy (YES) and the Victor Pinchuk Foundation held the 6th Munich Ukrainian Lunch, titled “One Year Later: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom and What’s Next”. Panelists discussed how support for Ukraine's allies has manifested itself and how the war is progressing on the military, economic, political, and information fronts; they assessed ways to end the war, focusing on key aspects of President Zelensky's peace formula and its implementation.
The conditions of diplomatic negotiations with Russia shall include the complete withdrawal of their troops from Ukraine, the return of all abducted people, the payment of reparations, and the readiness to cooperate in the investigation of war crimes.
Ukraine has ambitions to join the European Union in the next two years, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, has said at the 17th Yalta European Strategy (YES) Annual Meeting "Ukraine: Defending All Our Freedom", organised by YES in partnership with the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

Germany will support Ukraine in its struggle for independence and territorial integrity as long as Ukraine needs it, the German Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, has said at the 17th Yalta European Strategy (YES) Annual Meeting "Ukraine: Defending All Our Freedom", organised by YES in partnership with the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.
